Dustin had drill last weekend, so Alec and I went on a play date to the Mississippi Children's Museum. It just opened a few months ago and was wonderful!! Dustin works in Jackson, so after the museum, we got to eat out with dad and even spend the night with him in Jackson. I recommend this to people with kids of all ages!!

We did lots of this! Along with some running, jumping, building and discovering!
One of the exhibits was all about the stomach and digestive process. Alec got to climb through the esophagus and intestines and then.....
got POOPED out of the slide into the BIG potty!! This exhibit had some NASTY sound effects!
We even got to build boats and race them down a little river!

We headed home early the next morning (in our pjs!!) and picked up some donuts and chocolate milk for the ride. Alec had been such a fun little travel buddy that I decided to stop in Magee to see if they had the Buzz Lightyear and Woody that we’d been searching for. Our Walmart is always out of them. After a little searching, there they were, one of each, sitting on the shelf side by side. Alec spotted them immediately and says “put them in the buggy”. I couldn’t resist, $80.00 later he’s got two new best friends. BIG Buzz and BIG Woddy just had to come home with us!!
