Beach Vacation!!

We LOVE the beach and planned an end of summer vacation to Destin right before school.  We went with the Parker’s and stayed at the Destin Area Rec Area, our FAVORITE place to stay in Destin!

We went down a night early and stayed at Whiting Field in Milton.  This poor little bunny was enjoying a nice peaceful breakfast right outside our door until these two spotted him!  He wasn’t afraid and they chased him around for an hour!  Poor bunny!

This WONDERFUL splash pad is at the resort and the kids couldn’t wait to get there and play!

Finally Kara got there too!  These kids LOVE each other!

So, the ice cream truck does daily rounds through the resort.  Well, I didn’t remember it costing a fortune but these lovely treats cost NINE BUCKS!  Oh my!!  But, a smart mommy found out the marina at the resort has ice cream for a QUARTER!  Yep, our ice cream truck days were over after day 1 and we bought all the ice cream they could eat for a quarter!!  YAY!

Daddies and the kids headed to eat!

Tattoos at Crap Trap are always a must!  This was sister’s first!

Thankfully we didn’t have to wait to eat and the usual playing on the beach was after we ate at Crap Trap instead of before, like it normally is.

Yes, in our dinner clothes playing in the ocean! Oh my!  Thankfully we were headed back to the hotel after all this fun!

The next night we opted for Baytowne fun for dinner!  This was our fist time to visit and there were so many fun things to do and places to eat!

Everyone had fun!

After the Baytown fun we headed for the Track!  Sister was super excited to be bearly tall enough to ride!

Our last day we spent at the Coast Guard beach area!  It was so nice with picnic areas and showers!  Dustin, Adam and Mandi also got to see a sea turtle swim by while they were playing in the water!

Such a fun beach vacation!  We can’t wait to go back!!
