Dustin and I took a mini-vaca to New Orleans Saturday night to have a much needed break by ourselves! We split the kiddos up between Nana and Mimi, so we'd be invited back to stay again! Kaleigh spent her first night away from mom and dad at Nana's in Ellisville and Alec was lucky enough to get to stay at Mimi and Papa's Camp! He's been to the camp lots of times but this was his first time to get to go without us! He is becoming quite the fisherman and caught lots of fish on his little getaway! Papa bought him some crickets to fish with and he's been practicing casting his fishing pole since he got it for his birthday! He can easily cast it out and reel it in!

He woke up at 6:15 and was ready to fish some more,
lucky Mimi got this early morning fisherman while Papa was still asleep!
Who knew we had catfish in the bayou!
I bet we haven't fished off of the pier since I was in middle school!

Our kiddos are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents that live close by!
We couldn't make it without Mimi, Papa, Nana and Paps!!
