Dustin was promoted to a Warrant Officer on Friday!! This is something he's worked very hard to accomplish and we're thrilled with his achievement! He'll now be Mr. Robinson instead of Sergeant First Class Robinson, doesn't sound quite as cool, but it definitely is! He accepted a position with the 184th, which is based out of Hattiesburg! That's a promotion in itself, considering he won't have to drive to Jackson for work! The 184th is a deployable unit, but we think that sacrifice is worth it considering he can work in Hattiesburg for the rest of his career. Hopefully another deployment won't come anytime in the near future....

This is Mr. Touchstone, who is a CW5, which is the highest rank for a Warrant Officer. He's helped Dustin a ton along the way and we are so greatful for everything he has done for us. Dustin has been living with him in Jackson a few nights a week for the past year or so.

General Freeman, who is the AG for the Mississippi Guard attended this special ceremony too! He's a two star general in the military and it's pretty cool that he came to this ceremony that was held for Dustin!

We had to prepare breakfast for 50 people and take it to the ceremony as well, as a "thank-you" for all those who have helped Dustin along the way. It was definitely an accomplishment to get two kids and breakfast for 50 all to Jackson by 9am on Friday! Couldn't have done that with out my mother-in-law Lynn!! Thank you for your help!!
